Voyage ATL Magazine | ATL City Guide LOCAL STORIES JANUARY 6, 2022 Meet Natasha Renfroe
Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Renfroe.
Hi Natasha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Most people call me Tasha. So Why the heck am I doing a Blog & Mom about what for? My 21 years old daughter asked me today sounding mighty judgy if I might add. Well, I’m 45 years old women and been through a lot of STUFF & I think I know some STUFF, but I still have PROBLEMZ. Like all women, but up until recently I thought I was alone. I was looking at a Facebook post & a women had a random comment that she put in a natural hair group and boom over 1000 reply’s of Women giving opinions & stories & advice & support. Mind you, the comment had nothing to do with hair. As women, we need that support and sometimes it can come from a village of strangers. So I decided to build one.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Well, of course there has been some. You know sometimes you put your heart out there & it seems like your writing a letter to yourself, but you have to remember why your doing it. So I don’t come down on myself if no one’s as excited about a topic as I thought they would be. Just on to the next one. Remember if I help or inspire one person, I’ve done a good thing & that’s something to be proud of.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Well, my biggest & proudest accomplishment is the fact that I’m a Mom. Yes, I’m a professional among a host of other things, but nothing I’ve ever done or could ever do could top that one title that I’m eternally grateful for.
Currently I’m focusing on learning everything I can about helping others so my blog can be a useful & successful outlet for Women. I may not have all the answers but I will continue to build my tribe & be there for every Sis with Real Girl Problemz.
How do you think about happiness?
Helping others, in any way, shape or form. People go through so much daily and hide behind masks but you would never know the burdens of their hearts. I enjoy helping people in any way I can.
